"Nine Perfect Strangers" takes place at a boutique health-and-wellness resort that promises healing and transformation as nine stressed city dwellers try to get on a path to a better way of living. Watching over them during this 10-day retreat is the resort's director, Masha, a woman on a mission to reinvigorate their tired minds and bodies. However, these nine "perfect" strangers have no idea what is about to hit them.

Recommendation
Both the book and the series!
The great goal justifies the means. No one will complain once they feel their own transformation.
First, a few words about the series — I’ve only watched the first season, so everything here is based on that.
The vibe is reminiscent of White Lotus: colourful, lots of nature, beautiful shots, a good cast and decent humour — with a pinch of intrigue and secrets surrounding the guests who arrive at an elite resort to heal their bodies and souls.
As always with Liane Moriarty, there are no definitively good or bad characters — just actions and consequences. Don’t expect clear-cut answers about what’s right and what’s wrong. The series won’t surprise you, but it won’t disappoint either. It’s a very good evening watch.
Now, the book. This is the third Liane Moriarty I’ve read, and she’s become one of my favourite authors. What I love about her is the consistency — when you pick up one of her books, you know the next few hours will be interesting and won’t let you down. She’s found her genre and she’s completely at home in it!
The story is full of human experiences, conflicts, tragedies and healing. I’ve always loved Moriarty’s writing, but this book exceeded my expectations — the humour in particular is genuinely something else.
The first half is warm and enjoyable; the second half gives you more to think about.
The ending was a slight letdown — it dragged on a little too long. The series actually corrected this, which is another reason to recommend it.
Overall, I recommend both the book and the series — 8/10 for each!
